Mark was excellent to work with. Him and his crew demolished the previous ceiling, reinforced the existing structure, and then plastered the ceiling and added recessed lights. They were great at communicating and the job looks like it was well done and ready to be painted. They were also great with dogs!

Mark and his team were excellent to work with. He is very responsive and aims to please. We had a small demolition and carpentry project and he was timely, professional, and left our home clean and barely looking like anyone had been there. We will definitely call him again for future projects!

We had an excellent experience working with Mark and his team on our deck project. Mark was responsive and walked us through all of our choices. He helped us choose a cost effective Trex product and made sure we understood everything that was going to happen. He had two great guys come work on the project who were friendly to have around, respectful to our space, and did great work. The cost was very reasonable and Mark was accommodating to our budget. After the person I hired to finish my basement floor bailed a quarter through the job I contacted Mark. I contacted Mark on a Tuesday and he came out that day to look at the job and quote me a price. Thursday mark contacted me letting me know that Chad would be at my home on Saturday. Chad arrived Saturday at 9am ( on time) and finished the job in a few hours. Chad worked the entire time not taking cell phone breaks . My experience with Mark and Chad was excellent and I will definitely be hiring them for future projects.

Mark and his team did a great job repairing my old aluminum siding and the rotted wood underneath. They were able to manufacture needed pieces and do the work three stories up. He even charged me less than his estimate.

We had an excellent experience with Mark's Home Improvement. We contacted Mark about a small project in our basement and we heard back from him very quickly. Mark listened to our plans and goals for the project and made very helpful suggestions. Mark was also willing to work within whatever budget parameters we set and never pressured us to increase the budget. Mark was very communicative and came to meet us at our home several times in the evening to fit our work schedules. Once the work began, it went incredibly quickly and smoothly. The team was neat and friendly and our dog loved having them visit. Now that the work is complete we couldn't be happier with the outcome and wont hesitate to contact Marks Home Improvement for future projects.

My husband and I contacted Mark for an estimate to construct a full basement bathroom and remodel an upstairs bathroom. Mark promptly came by, reviewed various options with us, and made a number of helpful suggestions as to how we could accomplish our project. We were impressed with his depth of knowledge and great communication skills. Due to some major expenses that arose unexpectedly on our end, we've had to put plans on hold. Mark has been responsive and even came back for a second visit to provide input on how we could scale down the plans to meet our new circumstances. We look forward to working with Mark and his team in the near future when we are back on track.

We recently hired Mark to rebuild our deck using a composite decking. The outcome is both stunning and structurally sound. Mark was in constant communication with us from the beginning of the project to the end. He was responsive to all inquiries and requests throughout. Mark also provided detailed explanation of the process so that there were no surprises along the way. We are extremely pleased with his work and intend to hire him in the future for other household projects.

Mark is a very personable and professional, very knowledgeable about the type of project I was doing witch involved remodeling a deck and install new front stairs. Mark answered all my questions I had about my project And offered good suggestions on existing areas on my deck and stairs and some problem areas that my house needed repairing. Marks carpenters were very nice and did a great job on my Deck and stairs! Thought cost and value of project was very fair and would defiantly hire Mark again for any future projects I may have in the future. Thank you Mark!

Mark and his team have been great to work with. Excellent communication, they're very professional, and certainly know what they're doing! Our treehouse was falling out of the tree and not only did they secure the structure, build stairs and an additional deck, but they patched up the trees to prevent infection. I'd certainly recommend them!

Installed two door handles for a pocket and barn door. Excellent work completed on time and as quoted. Mark is very professional and the work area was clean when he left!

Mark was awesome. when he said he would be here, he was. He did all the work at one time. Came out great. Exactly what I wanted.

While I did not hire due to some of my limits, the communication, follow up and honest discussion was outstanding and very much appreciated. Often this is a big challenge here but he was flawless on these points.

Mark was very responsive and worked with my schedule to get my punch list completed. He handled installing a laundry cabinet, medicine cabinet and a replacement door. He also installed knobs on my kitchen cabinets and a variety of odd jobs. I would highly recommend him for your projects.

We went with Mark for our in house stairs that needed work. Mark responded immediately, and had his finish carpenter Gary come over to do the work. Gary came within 2 days was absolutely awesome! His suggestions helped out immensely, and his craftsmanship and work was incredible. We will definitely call again when we need work done, and Mark and Gary will be our first call. Highly recommended!

Mark showed up right on time to remove a wall A/C unit and seal up the hole inside and out. He and his assistant completed the work quickly and the quality is great, very knowledgable. He also fixed a broken kitchen cabinet and put back up an outdoor plastic conduit cover that the wind had blown off. What great service! And an excellent communicator.

Mark was fantastic. He helped install an above the range microwave. He was on time and did a quality job, I will definitely use his services again.

Had a great experience hiring Mark for a kitchen counter and sink replacement. He covered everything from suggesting color of counter and faucet style to money saving tips. We have been working with Mark on several projects for our historic home in Salem. Mark has provided tremendous value and amazing quality and there is seemingly nothing he can't do.

I needed to have a dryer installed and Mark responded to my request on Thumbtack. He came over, reviewed the project and gave me a reasonable quote. He was able to come over in a couple days and do the project during an evening. I was very happy with the work, and his flexibility with scheduling.

I needed 3 rotten window sills replaced. He worked very quickly and professionally. I had special requirements for only working afternoons and it wasn't a problem. He got the work done on the original schedule we agreed on. He milled out the replacement sills based on the existing sills so everything would match. He also offered to paint the new sills at no additional cost. Overall I'm very happy with the work and value.

Mark was great. He came over to our place to give us a quote and some ideas and suggestions for our porch. He was friendly, on time and had some good knowledge and ideas to share!

We are in the process of getting our 50 year old home ready to sell and needed a handyman to come and do some various fixes. Mark is great! We had him do a couple odd projects for us and he was able to use his experience and expertise to accomplish the job better than we would have expected. We would definitely recommend Mark to others. He was on time when he said he would be and was pleasant to work with.

Great work fair price and excellent communication/follow through

I asked Mark to replace some rotted wood on two 22 foot wide steps that connect our kitchen to the deck by our pool. The steps have been peeling paint and looking sad for at least 4 years, and then one of the steps broke. Mark suggested we use mahogany and stain them rather than trying to match the color of the deck- that turned ordinary steps into a work of art.

It was not an easy project- way too many nails were in the old stairs (lots of time all pulling them out, and Mark used screws instead), the steps were different widths so long boards had to be planed to the exact widths needed for each... all in all, a more complicated than meets the eye). Mark brought all the needed tools and saws, set up a workshop area, and got the project done quickly. It was a pleasure working with him.
